Once you complete the application process and submit your application for the covid relief grant, there is nothing more that you could do. The process is very involving and you need to make sure that you have submitted the right information.
Any wrong information or mistaken data submitted through your wrongful choice will lead you to be rejected for the grant. It’s therefore very important that you pay close attention to everything you enter and double cross-check your details before submitting.
The bank account that you enter to receive a payment if that is the choice you select must be one in your name, not anyone else’s. This bank account must not have received more than r350 in a month for the past 3 to 6 months at least.
This doesn’t also mean it hasn’t received any amount at all. A little each month shows the account to be active but receiving meagre amounts which is not enough to be considered of sufficient means.
Once you complete the entire process and you receive the text message indicating a successful submission, most applicants wait at least 24 hours to check for a response.
You need to regularly check for a response to your submitted application each day after you submit it. Checking and tracking the progress of your application is called checking your application status. The link is below.
